Job Details
NOTE: Requires candidate to reside in either the eastern or central time zones of the United States. Key Responsibilities:
- Sprint Planning and Management: Facilitate sprint planning, reviews, retrospectives, and daily stand-ups to ensure clarity and productivity among the team.
- Backlog Management: Prioritize and maintain the product backlog, focusing on critical cybersecurity enhancements and ensuring alignment with overall business goals.
- Stakeholder Communication: Act as a bridge between cybersecurity teams and other stakeholders, ensuring requirements are clearly understood and met.
- Risk Management: Proactively identify and address cybersecurity risks associated with product development.
- Performance Metrics: Develop and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of the scrum process and product impact on cybersecurity posture.
Qualifications:
- A bachelors degree or equivalent experience as a scrum master/product owner within the cybersecurity domain.
- Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles and technologies.
- Certified Scrum Master (CSM) and Certified Product Owner (CPO) or equivalent.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Performance Indicators:
- Sprint Success Rate: Measured by the percentage of sprints successfully meeting planned objectives.
- Backlog Health: Regular assessment of backlog items to ensure they are relevant, prioritized, and estimated accurately.
- Stakeholder Satisfaction: Measured through regular feedback loops with project stakeholders.
- Risk Mitigation Effectiveness: Frequency and impact of cybersecurity risks pre and post-mitigation efforts.
