Rate: $55/hr (C2C)

Job Summary
The Lead Consultant (SAP S/4HANA Production Planning) will be responsible for leading, managing, and executing end-to-end SAP S/4HANA Production Planning projects. The role involves designing and implementing efficient production planning solutions, providing strategic guidance, and ensuring optimized manufacturing processes aligned with business goals.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Lead and manage end-to-end SAP S/4HANA Production Planning (PP) projects from planning through implementation and post-go-live support.
  2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze business requirements.
  3. Design, configure, and implement production planning solutions in SAP S/4HANA aligned with best practices.
  4. Develop functional specifications and oversee technical developments for custom enhancements, reports, and third-party integrations.
  5. Conduct system testing, end-user training, and ensure successful adoption of new processes.
  6. Provide L2/L3 production support, troubleshoot issues, and continuously optimize system performance.
  7. Stay current with SAP updates, production planning trends, and industry innovations to drive process excellence.

Skill Requirements

  • 10+ years of hands-on functional experience in SAP Production Planning and Order Execution.
  • Expertise in SAP S/4HANA PP configuration, customization, and implementation.
  • Strong experience in master data management, planning processes (Consumption-based, Min-Max, Forecast, Demand-based), and order execution.
  • Proven ability to map business requirements to SAP functionalities and write detailed technical specifications.
  • Practical experience with custom enhancements, reports, and third-party interfaces.
  • Deep integration knowledge with Sales and Distribution (SD) and Make-to-Order (MTO) processes.
  • Exposure to both SAP ECC and S/4HANA environments.
  • Experience using ServiceNow, Jira, and Microsoft Azure DevOps (ADO) tools.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and leadership skills.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
