Job Description
Agile Product Owner location: Onsite, Franklin, TN
Duration: Long term
Interview mode: Video
Product Owner will oversee the development of multiple dealer facing applications. Act as the primary contact between the scrum teams, product development, and stakeholders. Product Owner will work with DBS dealer facing systems including paperwork for selling vehicles to customers, parts systems for ordering, warranty system to handle claims and back-office systems for financials and reporting. There are also over 16 interfaces between Nissan Corporate and Dealership providers in the US and Canada.
Responsibilities:
- Providing vision and direction to the Agile development team and stakeholders throughout the project and create requirements
- Plan and prioritize product feature backlog and development for the product
- Define product vision, road-map and growth opportunities
- Assess value, develop cases, and prioritize stories, epics and themes to ensure work focuses on those with maximum value that are aligned with product strategy
- Provide backlog management, iteration planning, and elaboration of the user stories
- Work closely with Product Management to create and maintain a product backlog according to business value or ROI
- Lead the planning product release plans and set the expectation for delivery of new functionalities
- Provide an active role in mitigating impediments impacting successful team completion of Release/Sprint Goals Skills:
- 3+ years experience working in an Agile Environment (KanBan or Scrum)
- 3+ years experience working as a Product Owner
- Experience working directly with business stakeholders and IT
- Excellent Communication skills
- Manage a backlog for 3 different continuous improvement teams
- Experience with tracking tools such as Jira
- DMS or Automotive OEM experience is a plus
