Job Title: Oracle cloud developer
Location: Remote (Canada)
Duration/Term: Long Term Contract


Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Oracle Integration Architect with expertise in Oracle ERP/EPM Cloud and Oracle OIC/OCI. The ideal candidate will analyze business, information, and technical requirements, translating them into architectural blueprints that drive seamless integration across applications, systems, and platforms. This role requires strategic decision-making, collaboration with global teams, and mentoring development/support teams to ensure success in application planning, deployment, and troubleshooting.


Key Responsibilities:

Integration Architecture & Development:

  • Design and implement Oracle ERP/EPM Cloud and OIC/OCI integrations to meet business objectives.
  • Develop architectural solutions aligned with Petco s Enterprise Reference Architecture.
  • Evaluate existing and proposed systems, recommending solutions to enhance performance.
  • Create and review technical specifications, estimating scope and effort for fixes and enhancements.
  • Ensure smooth application and infrastructure deployment, optimizing system functionality.

Collaboration & Problem Solving:

  • Lead offshore and nearshore development teams, ensuring alignment with project goals.
  • Work closely with business SMEs, IT teams, and vendors to troubleshoot production issues.
  • Influence key applications and infrastructure decisions, driving innovation and efficiency.
  • Facilitate business reviews, documenting current system states and future recommendations.

Quality Assurance & Continuous Improvement:

  • Conduct QA reviews, ensuring adherence to industry standards and best practices.
  • Modify procedures to solve complex technical problems within system capacity and SLAs.
  • Lead post-implementation and continuous improvement efforts to enhance solutions.
  • Ensure conceptual completeness and scalability of technical designs.


Required Skills & Experience:

  • Strong expertise in Oracle ERP/EPM Cloud and Oracle OIC/OCI.
  • Proven experience in integration architecture, system administration, and troubleshooting.
  • Ability to work with cross-functional teams, including developers, admins, and business leaders.
  • Quality assurance, system optimization, and documentation expertise.
  • Strong problem-solving mindset with a strategic approach to architectural decisions.
