NaphCare is hiring a Manager of AI Systems to join our team on-site at the Corporate Headquarters located in Birmingham, AL.

NaphCare is seeking a Manager of AI Systems to lead the company's adoption and implementation of enterprise AI solutions, directly impacting productivity, efficiency, and collaboration within our company. This role will work with key departments of NaphCare's corporate office to evaluate and implement AI tools within the legal and regulatory boundaries of our industry. This role will be responsible for architecting and operationalizing AI systems, frameworks, and agents across core business units. The manager will be dedicated to automating manual tasks across the entire company.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the planning, deployment, and integration of AI tools (e.g., NLP Agents, RPA, Predicative Models, Generative AI), into existing workflows to automate and enhance operational processes.
  • Evaluate and recommend AI platforms, technologies, and vendors based on company goals and technical fit.
  • Collaborate with Accounting, HR, Business Development, IT, and other leadership to identify high-impact AI use cases.
  • Develop and implement change management, communication, and training strategies to ensure high-user adoption and culture alignment.
  • Identify and prioritize use cases where AI can create value in areas such as operations, customer experience, HR, finance, and more.
  • Develop implementation roadmaps, success metrics, and change management plans.
  • Collaborate with IT, data, and business teams to ensure seamless integration with existing systems and workflows.
  • Monitor AI tool performance and adoption, making improvements as needed.
  • Ensure all AI implementations comply with data governance, security, and ethical standards.
  • Support training efforts and knowledge-sharing to build AI literacy across the organization.
  • Stay current on AI trends, emerging tools, and regulatory changes to inform future strategy.
  • Develop and maintain internal tools and systems that automate existing work and increase employee productivity using AI.
  • Use AI as much as possible to automate your own processes.
  • Collaborate with teams across the business to understand pain points and identify high-impact automation or process improvement opportunities.
  • Rapidly prototype small AI-enabled utilities or automations and deploy them into production swiftly.
  • Supervise the choices AI is making in areas like architecture, libraries, or technologies, and be ready to debug complex systems across frontend and backend services when AI cannot.
  • Act as a high-trust owner of systems that may handle sensitive data or business-critical logic.
  • Work cross-functionally to ensure tools are adopted and deliver obvious value.
  • Stay updated on the latest models and tools, and apply that knowledge to your work.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or related field.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in AI, digital transformation, or enterprise technology roles.
  • Strong knowledge of Enterprise AI applications that are commercially available.
  • Familiarity with enterprise AI platforms such as OpenAI, Microsoft Azure AI, Google Cloud AI, or similar.
  • Proven ability to manage complex projects and collaborate across functional teams.
  • Excellent communication, analytical, and organizational skills.
  • Experience in change management and user adoption strategies.
  • Background in managing AI tool rollouts in large organizations.
  • PMP or similar project management certification a plus.
  • Experience with data privacy and ethical AI implementation.
