Test Automation Engineering Lead - Performance Testing

As a Test Automation Engineering Lead, you will collaborate with engineering and architecture teams to execute the Enterprise Testing Strategy. This position leads the design and implementation of automated testing frameworks, driving the transformation of testing into a continuous, efficient, end-to-end quality engineering function.

The company is located in the Boston, MA area and is on-site 4 days a week.

What you will be doing:
  • Collaborate with managers and architects to design and execute an enterprise-wide test automation strategy.
  • Lead the development of high-quality test automation that meets business, functional, and quality requirements.
  • Design and implement automated test suites, contributing to the overall success of the testing plan.
  • Coach and mentor others on the value and types of test automation engineering.
  • Drive the development of testing methods to expand test coverage, improve regression suites, enable repeatable data collection, and optimize performance through best practices.
  • Identify and document the quality testing architecture and use cases to support a robust software quality program.
Required Skills:
  • Performance Testing experience, Load Testing Experience, API testing experience
  • Hands-on experience with test automation tools such as Selenium, JUnit, LambdaTest, and Grafana Labs K6.
  • Proficient in Java, JavaScript, CSS, and SQL.
  • Strong understanding of Agile development methodologies.
  • Familiar with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
  • Preferred experience with AWS Cloud Services, TypeScript, DataDog, LaunchDarkly, Okta, and Storybook.
