DescriptionWe're seeking a Cloud Solution Architect (CSA) specializing in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (F&O), you will lead strategic engagements that help customers modernize their financial systems, optimize operations, and unlock business value through Business Applications. You'll collaborate with stakeholders across finance, IT, and operations to deliver scalable, intelligent solutions that drive digital transformation.
Responsibilities Customer Centricity
- Gather customer insights to align Dynamics 365 F&O solutions with financial and operational business outcomes.
- Identify opportunities to improve financial processes such as general ledger, accounts payable/receivable, budgeting, fixed assets, and project accounting.
- Accelerate solution delivery and adoption through Value-Based Deliveries and reusable Intellectual Property (IP).
- Deliver technical workshops and readiness sessions focused on financial system health, compliance, and cloud enablement.
- Ensure a positive customer experience across finance transformation engagements.
- Provide feedback to Product Groups to influence roadmap and service improvements.
Business Impact- Drive cloud consumption and support growth by guiding customers on how to maximize value from Dynamics 365 Finance investments.
- Align with Customer Success Account Managers and account teams to ensure business value realization across financial and operational domains.
Resolution of Customer Blockers- Anticipate and resolve issues blocking go-live or adoption by applying deep technical and functional knowledge of F&O finance modules.
- Deliver engagements using Microsoft best practices, Success by Design principles, and repeatable IP.
Identify Growth Opportunities- Leverage your knowledge of Business Applications-including F&O and Power Platform-to identify cross-sell and up-sell opportunities based on customer needs and industry trends.
Technical Leadership- Engage in technical communities, contribute to IP development, and mentor peers and junior architects.
- Act as a role model for technical readiness and cross-workload collaboration.
Practice Development- Innovate and improve existing IP, methodologies, and delivery processes across ERP domains.
- Promote best practice sharing and IP reuse to accelerate customer success and internal efficiency.
Trusted Advisor- Build and expand trusted relationships with customer and partner architects, finance leaders, technical specialists, and business stakeholders.
Qualifications:- Proven experience in Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations with a focus on financial modules.
- Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business, or related field AND extensive experience in IT consulting, systems implementation, software development/support, or Microsoft Business Applications.
- Significant experience in customer-facing roles and as a lead technical solution architect across ERP projects.
Technical Qualifications / Experience- Deep technical expertise in Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations, including: Financial modules: General Ledger, Accounts Payable/Receivable, Budgeting, Fixed Assets, Project Accounting, and Financial Reporting
- Integration patterns and anti-patterns
- Lifecycle Services (LCS), Azure DevOps (Boards, Pipelines), RSAT
- Performance tuning, debugging, and code reviews
- Finance & Operations Assessments and environment management
- Regulatory compliance, audit readiness, and financial controls
- Integration with Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement (Sales, Power Platform).
- Experience with Dataverse is required (Formerly known as CDS (Common Data Service)
Additional or Preferred Qualifications- Functional or technical certification in Dynamics 365 Finance or related apps.
- Experience with Success by Design methodology or business value consulting.
- Experience leading enterprise-scale finance transformation projects.
- Architecture and deployment on Microsoft Azure

The base salary range for this position is $100,000-$120,000, plus incentives that align with individual and company performance. Actual salaries will vary based on work location, qualifications, skills, education, experience, and competencies.
