Description
We are looking for an experienced Senior Project Manager in Information Technology to lead and coordinate complex projects within the automotive industry. This long-term contract position is based in Raymond, Ohio, and requires a proactive individual with strong organizational and communication skills. Working closely with cross-functional teams, you will manage project schedules, budgets, and resources to ensure successful outcomes.
Responsibilities:
Oversee project schedules and ensure timely delivery of milestones and objectives.
Coordinate daily activities across teams and functional groups to maintain project alignment.
Facilitate meetings to address project concerns, track progress, and resolve issues.
Build and sustain business relationships critical to project success.
Manage risks, schedule changes, and delays while implementing recovery strategies.
Monitor and control project budgets, ensuring expenditures align with planned allocations.
Maintain comprehensive and accurate project documentation in compliance with company guidelines.
Communicate project updates to stakeholders through regular status reports, meetings, and milestone evaluations.
Utilize project management tools to develop and maintain project plans and cost forecasts.
Lead resource management efforts, tracking time allocation and optimizing team performance.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
Minimum of five years of experience managing IT projects using Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including PowerPoint, Excel, and Word.
Familiarity with project management tools such as Clarity or equivalent systems.
Solid understanding of system architecture and design principles.
Exceptional oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
Flexibility to adapt to varied work schedules, including early morning or late evening meetings.
