Job Details

A well known stable company in Lower Bucks County is seeking a Junior Systems Engineer to do a mix of Desktop Support as well as Systems Engineering with Servers and VMware.
You will play a key role in supporting and maintaining the organization's IT infrastructure. This position involves a mix of hands-on desktop support, server management, and assisting with Microsoft Dynamics systems. The ideal candidate is eager to learn, adaptable, and ready to contribute to both day-to-day operations and long-term projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide technical support for desktops, laptops, printers, and other peripherals, ensuring timely resolution of user issues.
  • Assist in the maintenance, configuration, and troubleshooting of Windows servers, including updates, backups, and security patches.
  • Support and assist in managing Microsoft Dynamics environments, including user access, troubleshooting, and basic configuration changes.
  • Monitor system performance and ensure the availability and reliability of IT resources.
  • Participate in server and infrastructure upgrades, migrations, and other IT projects.
  • Document IT processes, support procedures, and system configurations.
  • Collaborate with the senior IT team to identify and implement improvements in systems and processes.
  • Maintain compliance with IT policies, best practices, and security protocols.

Qualifications:
  • 1-3 years of experience in IT support or a related role.
  • Proficiency in troubleshooting and supporting Windows operating systems and Microsoft Office 365.
  • Basic knowledge of Windows Server administration (Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, etc.).
  • Exposure to Microsoft Dynamics or other business application platforms is a strong plus.
  • Familiarity with virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper-V) is a bonus.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a customer-oriented approach.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
