Our United in STEM Diversity Internship Program is designed to provide valuable work experience for current students enrolled in an accredited undergraduate degree program who are passionate about technology and eager to make an impact. This program was created specifically for students who self-identify with one or more of the following identities: Black and/or African American, Latin American and/or Hispanic, Indigenous, Asian and other historically underrepresented students of color, women, LGBTQ+, students affiliated with the US military (Service Members, Veterans, and Military Spouses) and Students with Disabilities.

We're looking for passionate STEM interns who love to design, develop, debug and support software. As a United in STEM intern, you'll work with (and learn from) the best as you tackle multiple meaningful projects, attend exclusive events, and make memorable connections that last beyond the summer.
Upon application to the program, we align your application to a role based on your prior experiences and interests, and your resume will be shared with hiring managers across SAS. Pay Transparency: The hourly rate for SAS internships is determined by the applicant's year in school and the position they are hired into. Hourly rates range from $15 - $31 for associate's/bachelor's level positions and $29 - $49/hour for master's/Ph. D positions. Internship roles are not eligible for bonus.

Required Qualifications
- You're an undergraduate college student enrolled in an accredited program and will not be graduating prior to December 2025.
- You're a STEM Major - Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, Data Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related technical field/ quantitative course of study.
- You're proficient in one or more of the following programming languages: Java, Python, C, C#, HTML, CSS, SAS, R, JavaScript, Go, React, Angular, or other languages.
- You're curious, passionate, authentic, and accountable. These are our values and influence everything we do.
- You're dependable, value relationship building, eager to learn and are results oriented.
- Leadership abilities. Your past experiences demonstrate you'll take initiative and go above and beyond the call of duty.
- You're interested in the future of data and AI and embrace technology.
Preferred Experience
- Experience with cloud technologies (AWS, Google Cloud Platform, Azure), container technologies (Docker, Kubernetes), APIs, and/or source management systems (Git, Jenkins, etc.)
- If you know SAS programming, that's a bonus!
Timeline and process

- Internship Start Date: May 20, 2025. If your university is on a quarter system, just let us know - we can be flexible.
