Soni Resources is looking for a Lead AI Architect to help launch and lead AI capabilities from the ground up.
You'll be the go-to AI expert-designing solutions, building prototypes, and deploying production-ready models using the AWS AI/ML stack. This is a highly impactful role for someone who can roll up their sleeves, wear multiple hats, and chart the course forward in an environment where nothing is fully built yet-but everything is possible.

What You'll Do
- Design and deploy AI/ML solutions using the AWS ecosystem (SageMaker, Bedrock, Lambda, etc.)
- Build and train models for risk analysis, workflow automation, and internal GenAI tools
- Lead end-to-end development-from data ingestion to production deployment
- Collaborate with business and product teams to identify and prioritize use cases
- Translate ambiguous business problems into actionable, AI-powered solutions
- Establish best practices, tooling, and workflows for future AI initiatives
- Mentor and guide developers as the AI function grows
What We're Looking For
Must-Have:
- 7+ years of software engineering experience, with 3+ years in AI/ML
- Strong coding skills in Python and/or Java
- Hands-on experience with AWS AI/ML tools (e.g., SageMaker, Bedrock, Comprehend)
- Proven ability to build, deploy, and scale ML models in production
- Comfortable leading in a fast-paced, unstructured environment
Nice-to-Have:
- Experience with LLMs, GenAI, and NLP-based applications
- Background in mortgage, lending, or financial services
- Familiarity with MLOps and production model governance
- Strong communication skills across technical and business teams
