Job Title: Technical Project Manager

Location: Tampa, FL 33604 (Onsite)
Duration: 12+ Months

The Impact you will have in this role:

  • The Project Management role specializes in the management of significant technical projects in support of Technology Research and Innovations (TRI) objectives. This position will oversee all aspects of project lifecycle including project planning, goal setting, managing schedules, and coordinating resources to ensure projects are completed to specification, within the established timeframe, and budget.
  • The candidate will closely partner with functions across the enterprise to ensure alignment and successful delivery, including Operational and Technology Risk, IT Architecture, Business Architecture, Service Architecture, Application Development, infrastructure teams, Architecture Review Board (ARB) and others.

Technical Project Management responsibilities:

  • Responsible for the execution of multiple smaller projects
  • Develop and maintain detailed project plans, timeline and budget
  • Proactively identify, understand, and address intra-project and inter-project dependencies, risks and issues and ensure they are escalated appropriately to Senior Management
  • Mitigate risk by following established procedures, spotting key errors, identifying and appropriately elevating potential risks, and demonstrating strong ethical behavior
  • Clearly track, report, and communicate regular project status (including scope, schedule, and budget) to project collaborators, management, and established governance groups
  • Create and maintain Jira projects and are responsible for tracking and reporting on team commitments as well as resolving (or assisting in resolving) risks, issues, and dependencies.

Qualifications:

  • Strong understanding and experience in executing projects in Agile frameworks
  • Experience with tools such as Jira, Confluence, HP PPM, MS Office tools, PowerBI.
  • Familiarity with financial systems and risk management practices.
  • Excellent facilitation, stakeholder management and collaboration skills.
  • Strong and effective communication skills required written, verbal and presentation; ability to communicate technical topics to a non-technical audience
  • Delivery-focused, result-oriented leadership style
