Description
We are looking for an experienced Principal Solutions Architect III to join our team in Providence, Rhode Island. In this role, you will work closely with our Cloud Engineering and Cybersecurity teams to design and implement secure cloud architectures while ensuring compliance with industry standards. This is a long-term contract position that requires on-site presence three days per week to collaborate effectively with team members. Responsibilities:
Design and implement secure cloud architectures across platforms, including Azure and other cloud service providers.
Conduct regular security assessments to ensure compliance with relevant frameworks and regulations.
Lead incident response efforts for cloud environments and participate in tabletop exercises.
Collaborate with development and DevOps teams to promote secure coding and operational best practices.
Oversee user access and privileged account management to ensure alignment with industry standards.
Develop and enforce cloud security policies, standards, and procedures in collaboration with internal teams.
Perform comprehensive security reviews of cloud architectures, infrastructure, and applications to identify risks and implement mitigation strategies.
Manage container security technologies and ensure their effective integration within the cloud environment.
Act as a subject matter expert on cloud security, advising on best practices, emerging technologies, and evolving threats.
Provide mentorship and guidance to team members with less experience to foster growth and development.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
At least 10 years of hands-on experience in cybersecurity and cloud application and infrastructure configuration.
Expertise in managing Microsoft 365 services, including Endpoint Manager, Defender for Cloud, and Active Directory.
Strong knowledge of containerization technologies and their application in secure cloud environments.
Familiarity with programming languages such as Python and Java, as well as scripting for automation.
Proficiency in network security, policy development, and configuration management.
Proven ability to execute security risk management plans and ensure compliance with industry standards.
Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills to support team collaboration and project success.
