Azure DevOps Developer / Engineer

Position Details:

- The role is situated within the Bay Area, CA, and necessitates on-site attendance for three days per week.
- Potential candidates should be prepared for a face-to-face meeting with the project supervisor upon selection.
- Only profiles of candidates currently residing in the Bay Area, CA, or those who have already completed their relocation will be considered.

Role Duties:

Develop and manage continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) systems using tools such as Git, GitHub Actions, and GitHub CLI.
Automate and enhance the processes around software development lifecycle and release management.
Implement and maintain tooling and infrastructure, utilizing programming languages including Python and Groovy.
Implement security best practices to guard against cyber threats.
Architect and fine-tune cloud-based solutions with a focus on efficiency and scalability using AKS and Azure ARM templates.
Analyze system performance indicators and devise strategies for system enhancement.
Oversee routine code deployment activities, troubleshooting, updates, and process optimization.
Liaise with IT staff, developers, and operations teams to assure system uniformity and enhance deployment processes.
Document phases of development, update infrastructure records, and oversee systems performance metrics.
Execute tests for security protocols, system responsiveness, and resource availability.

Candidate Profile:

Possession of a Bachelor s degree or higher in Computer Science, Engineering, or a relevant discipline.
Demonstrated track record in a DevOps Engineer capacity or a comparable role within software engineering.
Sound proficiency in Python and Groovy programming languages.
In-depth knowledge of version control systems such as Git, with experience in GitHub CLI and GitHub Actions.
Practical knowledge of Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) and container management.
Proficiency in the utilization of Azure Resource Manager (ARM) tools for cloud resource management via Infrastructure as Code (IaC) practices.
Familiarity with system automation and integration frameworks.
Ability to diagnose and resolve complex problems; adept at working collaboratively.
Strong command of both oral and written communication skills.
