Title: Full Stack Observability Engineer (ETL + SRE + SaaS Platform)
Location: Charlotte, NC OR San Leandro, CA (Hybrid)
Duration: Long-Term Contract | W2 Only

Job Description:

We re looking for a Full Stack Observability Engineer with strong background in data application monitoring, ETL SRE support, and hybrid cloud observability. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Grafana, Splunk, Prometheus, and AppDynamics, along with scripting and automation expertise.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Build and maintain observability frameworks across SaaS, hybrid cloud, and on-prem environments.

  • Monitor ETL pipelines, integrations, and data performance metrics.

  • Develop proactive alerts, dashboards, and health checks for ETL failures, latency, and data integrity.

  • Lead SRE support for data platforms and coordinate change management activities.

  • Drive continuous improvement in reliability, uptime, and monitoring automation.

Required Skills:

  • 8+ years in observability engineering for data-intensive applications.

  • Strong hands-on experience with Grafana, Splunk, Prometheus, AppDynamics.

  • Proficiency in Python, Bash, and Ansible.

  • Deep understanding of ETL tools/frameworks and data flow optimization.

  • SaaS platform support experience in hybrid or on-prem environments.

  • Excellent problem-solving, troubleshooting, and performance tuning skills.
