Job Details
This is an outstanding opportunity for a Pre-Sales Solution Specialist with a global, business solutions company headquartered in Dallas. They are dedicated to providing innovative manufacturing product solutions and services, scalable to a global level.
Working side by side with their customers to understand their vision, strategies, and processes, they are creating unique solutions propelling their clients ahead of their competition.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Gather market intelligence and capture industry common issues, potential needs to develop sales strategies to receive both consulting project and IT solution implementation projects.
- Engage proactively with potential clients to understand their pain points / needs and offer suitable product or service solutions.
- Serving as a trusted advisor, build and maintain sustainable client relationships with management and senior level contacts across the enterprise who know details of business operations and issues,
- Create materials for proposals and discussion with clients.
- Coordinate with consulting team and system implementation teams to propose tailored solutions for clients which can be implemented successfully.
- Provide product expertise, direct delivery team to develop tailored use case scenario, data and contents related to product demonstrations which address client pain points and issues.
- Conduct tailored product demonstrations which highlight benefits of our value proposition.
- Create/update/share account plan for potential clients as requested.
- Create minutes for each client sales meeting.
- Report weekly activity to identify potential clients and cultivate a robust pipeline of sales leads with to drive revenue growth and convert leads into loyal customers.
- Collaborate proactively with consulting team, system implementation team and ERP /SaaS Partner for license resale business to provide insights into customer requirements and market demands.
- Propose the best consulting service and/or IT solution service including to innovatively solve client issues leveraging industry domain knowledge and deep understanding of issues through close communication with several stakeholders.
- Act as a liaison between Systems implementation team and the clients, ensuring smooth communication and prompt resolution of questions or concerns.
- Develop and update standardized sales process and sales deck as needed to realize the most effective and efficient sales process and its performance.
- Create and obtain management approval for proposals to clients based on company guidelines.
- Obtain advice from legal team regarding agreement conditions and negotiate with clients to explore mutually acceptable conditions.
- Offer technical support and guidance to clients, ensuring a smooth transition from pre-sales to post-sales activities.
- Support delivery team to clarify requirements and procure necessary staff and support from our partners.
- Create internal knowledge base documents for improved sales and productivity purposes.
BACKGROUND
- Proven track record working for a consulting / professional services organization in a Pre-Sales role with a focus on ERP/SaaS solution selling
- Strong manufacturing industry expertise (Business strategy trend, Business operation process knowledge, Industry IT solution knowledge)
- Proficiency in CRM/SCM software or cloud services.
- Solid experience conducting thorough analysis of client current IT systems and infrastructure, evaluating client IT needs and aligning them with industry best practices.
- Experience developing IT roadmaps and milestones that align with business objectives.
- System development planning and implementation experience (Scratch from zero, ERP, SaaS)
- Logical thinking with well-organized and structured documentation skills.
- Strong presentation and negotiation skills.
- Industry connections with one or more SaaS implementation company / partner.
