Guidewire Policy Center Config Developer (Guidewire Cloud)

Position: Guidewire Policy Center Config Developer (Guidewire Cloud)
Location: Remote (Canada)
Experience: 8+ Years
Project Duration: 12+ Months

Key Responsibilities
- Configure and customize Guidewire Policy Center modules on Guidewire Cloud Platform (GWCP).
- Develop and maintain Gosu code, PCF files, and data model extensions.
- Collaborate with business analysts and architects to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Participate in Guidewire Cloud deployments, upgrades, and maintenance activities.
- Integrate Policy Center with external systems using REST/SOAP APIs, messaging, and event frameworks.
- Implement business rules, product model changes, and rating logic.
- Perform unit testing and support system/integration testing.
- Troubleshoot and resolve defects, performance issues, and configuration errors.
- Follow Guidewire best practices, coding standards, and Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Work with Guidewire Cloud Console, CI/CD pipelines, and version control

Required Skills & Experience:

- 5+ years of hands-on experience with Guidewire Policy Center Configuration and Integration.
- Experience working on Guidewire Cloud Platform (GWCP) or recent Policy Center Cloud projects.
Proficiency in Gosu, Java, GUnit, XML, and PCF.
- Strong understanding of Policy Center data model, product model, and policy transactions.
- Familiarity with Guidewire Studio, Cloud Console, and DevOps pipelines.
- Experience with API integrations, batch processing, and messaging in Guidewire.
- Understanding of cloud-based environments (AWS preferred).
- Exposure to Guidewire Cloud upgrade/migration projects is a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
