Software Engineer (Contingent Resource)
Location: Summit, NJ
As a Software Engineer in this contingent resource assignment, you will play a crucial role in driving moderately complex initiatives within Software Engineering. Your responsibilities include:
- Consultation and Participation: Collaborate on and participate in moderately complex initiatives and deliverables related to Software Engineering. Contribute to large-scale planning efforts.
- Problem Solving: Analyze and review moderately complex Software Engineering challenges, evaluating variable factors. Provide in-depth evaluations to address these challenges effectively.
- Issue Resolution: Contribute to the resolution of moderately complex issues. Consult with colleagues to meet Software Engineering deliverables while adhering to function-specific policies, procedures, and compliance requirements.
- Collaboration: Work closely with client personnel in Software Engineering, fostering effective collaboration and communication.
Required Qualifications:
- 4+ years of Software Engineering experience or equivalent demonstrated through a combination of work, consulting, training, military service, or education.
Desired Skills:
- Proficiency in Java, Python, or Scala programming.
- Experience with Spark, Hadoop, or MapR-based middleware services.
- Exposure to cloud computing, Docker, and Kubernetes is a significant advantage.
