Position: SAP RAR/BRIM Consultant

Location: Remote position

Client is seeking SAP RAR Functional consultant with deep experience in SAP S4, RAR, OTC, Finance Applications and Reporting Toolsets to join the Business Platform & Engineering team. This is an individual contributor role with a high level of influence and responsibility.

The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the SAP S4, RAR, doing POC's, identifying GAPS, providing the solution and doing hands on configurations , as well as experience working with engineering teams to develop feature functionality for key finance, accounting, and executive stakeholders across the organization.

As an SAP RAR/BRIM consultant, you must have to:


  • Evaluates architectural options and Supports overall architecture of the system, ensuring commonality across systems
  • Provides subject matter expertise and technical consulting support on either vendor or internal applications and interfaces
  • Develop and deploy new processes and configuration to meet business needs in SAP RAR
  • Interfaces with Product Managers, Product Owner, Engineering and IT partners at the Program level to define and estimate features for agile teams
  • Conducts industry research, facilitates new product and vendor evaluations, and assists in vendor selection
  • Assists in production support and maintenance of applications as needed
  • Provides subject matter expert solutions and hands-on management of configuration
  • Manage expectations with internal stakeholders and customers

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Must have Strong hands-on experience with SAP RAR implementations with S4 HANA and acting as an Key functional resource
  • 8+ years' experience in business application design, development, implementation, and/or solution architecture within the SAP Functional areas of OTC, RevRec, IFRS, USGAAP, ASC 606, RAR.
  • Detailed knowledge of Accounting principle and how RAR works.
  • Experience in Setting up BRF+ (business rule framework)
  • Experience in implementing ASC 606 with applications like RAR, RevPro etc.
  • Experience in doing Large data migration for RAR
  • Experience with integration between ECC, CC, S4 BRIM, CI to RAR
  • Knowledge of RAR OCM module is good to have
  • Experience in an Agile environment is preferred
  • Experience with multiple, diverse technical configurations, technologies, and processing environments
  • Translates business needs into technical architecture requirements
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills, including teamwork, facilitation, and negotiation
  • Knowledge of all components of a technical architecture
  • Ability to understand the long-term ("big picture") and short-term perspectives of situations
  • Estimates financial impact of technical architecture alternatives
  • Applies multiple technical solutions to business problems
  • Quickly comprehends the functions and capabilities of new technology
  • Excellent written and oral communications skills
  • Excellent planning and organizational skills

Pay Range: $85- $90 per hour.

Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
