A/V Senior Engineer, Product Assistant Vice President

Are you passionate about cutting-edge audio-visual (A/V) technology and ready to lead in a global, fast-paced environment? Our client, a fast-growing, well-established fintech company with US offices in NYC, CT and NJ and global offices in Canada, Portugal, Switzerland, London, Singapore, Japan, and Hong Kong seeks a Senior A/V Systems Design Engineer (Assistant Vice President) to join the team and take ownership of high-level A/V design, productization, and innovation for the rapidly expanding corporate A/V footprint. This is a full-time position with competitive salary and bonus, and terrific benefits. Hybrid work environment, in the office Monday-Thursday, with the flexibility to work remotely on Friday.

<>Your Role</>

Reporting to the Global Head of A/V, you will:

  • Design and Innovate: Develop comprehensive A/V system designs tailored to user needs for conference rooms, digital signage, production studios, and more. Establish and maintain scalable A/V standards across our global operations.
  • Implement and Lead: Oversee A/V projects from conception to completion, ensuring all designs meet company standards. Configure, test, and commission systems to deliver flawless integration.
  • Support and Troubleshoot: Provide Tier 3 technical support for A/V systems, including Zoom and Microsoft Teams platforms. Diagnose and resolve complex technical issues while collaborating with vendors and manufacturers.
  • Engage and Train: Collaborate with IT and Workplace Services to align A/V solutions with user needs. Conduct demonstrations and train teams to ensure smooth operation and maintenance of A/V systems.
  • Drive Innovation: Stay ahead of industry trends, championing improvements that enhance system performance and user satisfaction.
<>What You Bring</>
  • Experience: 7+ years in A/V systems design, installation, and support, with expertise in tools like AutoCAD, Bluebeam, Vector Works, and Visio.
  • Technical Mastery: Proficiency in A/V components (displays, sound systems, control systems) and collaboration platforms (Zoom, Microsoft Teams). Advanced knowledge of A/V networking and schematics.
  • Leadership: Proven ability to manage design cycles, mentor teams, and align initiatives with organizational goals.
  • Certifications: AVIXA CTS, CTS-D (Design), or CTS-I (Installation) certifications are required.
  • Skills: Strong troubleshooting, organizational, and presentation skills, coupled with a continuous learning mindset and a knack for innovation.
