Overview:

Illumen is seeking an experienced Data Analyst with a strong background in collecting, analyzing, and interpreting large data sets to help drive strategic business decisions. This position requires a strong foundation in data management, statistical analysis, and proficiency in tools such as Excel, iComplaints or Entellitrak systems. The ideal candidate will have a keen attention to detail, the ability to identify trends, and a problem-solving mindset to provide actionable insights. In addition to technical skills, effective communication is essential to translate complex data findings into clear, concise reports for Government stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Gains access to and maintains HHS personnel and other EEO or Diversity-related data. The use of systems such as EHCM, BIIS, USA Staffing/Cognos, FedSEP, and iComplaints or their successor systems.

  • Gains and maintains HHS personnel data and relevant HR and EEO/Diversity practices, including personnel transactions, EEO complaint processing, and Reasonable Accommodation Request processing.

  • Exports data reports from these systems and applies analytical techniques to this raw data to generate analytical products such as charts, graphs, tables, summaries, and presentations.

  • Assists in the completion of major reports, including the MD-715 Report, NO FEAR Act Report, and Form 462 Report.

  • Assists EEODI leadership in data & analytics process improvement as well as developing new processes and strategies.

  • Provides direct customer service to EEODI customers seeking EEO or Diversity data and analytical products.

  • Provides analysis consulting services to EEODI customer organizations to assist them in developing data strategies.

  • Share and disseminate data, systems, analytics, and related expertise to other members of the HHS EEO & Diversity data analytics community.

  • Provide data & analytics project support to EEODI leadership.

  • Provide data & analytics support for Departmental DEIA projects.

Immediate Tasks Upon Start:

  • Onboarding: Collaborate with existing data analyst specialists to integrate into the team, familiarize yourself with ongoing projects, and begin contributing to the EEODI support staff.

  • Review & Refine Documentation: Assess and refine existing documentation to ensure they are up-to-date and aligned with project goals.

Skills & Experience:

  • 6 years + proven EEO (Equal Employment Opportunity) experience required.

  • 5 years + proficiency in iComplaints or Entellitrak systems, including:

    - Usage and navigation.

    - Search capabilities.

    - Compiling and distributing reports.

    - Data reporting to customers.

  • To qualify for this position, your resume must include demonstrated familiarity with MD 715, Form 462, and No FEAR Act quarterly assessments, along with a proven ability to understand and complete the required assessments and reports.

Education:
Bachelor s degree or higher in Information Systems, Information Technology, Computer Science, or other related disciplines.
