Senior Software Developers for Randstad Digital, LLC. Multiple openings. Headquarters: Woburn, MA. Develop and design mainframe applications, code, scripts, queries, batch processing, online transaction systems, stored procedures for business logic in financial systems. Troubleshoot, diagnose issues. Review root cause, SDLC, requirements, implementation, software delivery, ad-hoc requests, system reliability, optimization, workflows, legacy and modernized system environments, compliance, file manipulation, scheduling, job execution, indexing, performance, data integrity, root cause, bottlenecks, risks components. Confer with DBAs and data architects, perform unit and integration testing, create technical design documentation, resolve defects, automate data validation and transformation processes, provide data extracts and audit support. Analyze clients/user needs, recommend modifications. Use DB2, COBOL, JCL, SQL, Agile, BMC, DFSORT, SYNCSOIRT, SORT, ICETOOL, ETL, Autosys, Informatica, OLTP, z/OS, Toad, Data Point, Jira, ISPW, TSO/ISPF, Spufi, IBM Utilities, File-Aid, BMC, Fault Analyzer. 40 hrs/wk. Must have Master's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electronic Engineering, or a related field, and 2 years experience in the proffered position or as a Developer, Software Engineer, Technology Analyst, Progrdammer Analyst, or related occupation. In the alternative, will accept a Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in the specified fields plus 5 years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience in the specified occupations. Must have 2 years of experience developing mainframe applications, code, queries, batch processing, online transaction systems; troubleshooting; diagnosing issues; reviewing root cause, SDLC, requirements; performing testing; creating technical design documentation; resolving defects; using DB2, COBOL, JCL, SQL, DFSORT, SYNCSOIRT, z/OS, Jira, Spufi, File-Aid, Fault Analyzer. Must be willing to travel/relocate to unanticipated locations throughout the US on short notice for extended periods of time. Telecommuting permitted. $178,132 to $178,150 /yr.
