Job Description/ Roles & Responsibilities
We are seeking a Oracle EPM EPBCS Consultant with strong hands-on experience in Enterprise Planning and Budgeting Cloud Service (EPBCS). The ideal candidate will play a key role in designing, implementing, and supporting Oracle EPM Cloud solutions for financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting initiatives.
This is a fully onsite role in Chicago, IL, supporting enterprise-level financial transformation initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
Lead implementation and support activities for Oracle EPM – EPBCS
Gather business requirements and translate them into functional and technical design documents
Configure Planning modules including Workforce, Capex, Financials, and Projects
Develop and maintain business rules, forms, dashboards, and reports
Design and manage data integrations using Data Management / FDMEE
Perform metadata management and security configuration
Support month-end, forecast, and budgeting cycles
Troubleshoot and resolve system and data issues
Collaborate with Finance stakeholders, IT teams, and leadership
Provide best practices guidance and recommend process improvements
Required Skills
10+ years of overall IT experience
Strong hands-on experience in Oracle EPM Cloud (EPBCS)
Expertise in Planning & Budgeting implementations
Experience with Groovy scripting (preferred)
Strong knowledge of financial processes (Budgeting, Forecasting, Financial Consolidation)
Experience with data integrations and automation
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
