This role involves entering employee information into the state’s personnel system and calculating salary adjustments for manager review, preparing official HR forms and related documents (such as organizational charts), and entering or updating personnel data in Excel spreadsheets for submission to the Governor’s Office. The position also includes keeping organizational charts current, filing documents as needed, and preparing “close-out binders” by gathering electronic records and combining them into organized PDFs using Adobe Acrobat. Overall, it’s a mix of data entry, form preparation, record-keeping, and document organization to support personnel actions and management review.

Excel Proficiency – Ability to create, update, and maintain spreadsheets for tracking and reporting personnel data; comfortable with formulas, sorting, and data organization.
Document Preparation – Experienced in drafting and formatting HR forms, official correspondence, and organizational charts.
Adobe Acrobat – Skilled in combining, organizing, and editing electronic files into professional PDF binders for management review and recordkeeping.
