Direct Client - Very Sr. Web APIs .Net C# Developer with Strong Cloud Experience

We are looking for a strong SDE to join our Web API and Platform team. This team is responsible for supporting Web API's for the mobile and web application teams. We do all the middle tier development for applications used/created by the whole company. As we are consumer facing and very highly trafficked you need to have a background working on consumer facing, high throughput web applications.

Tops 3 Skills Needed:

1	Experience advanced working as an SDE at an Enterprise Level (consumer facing)	10+ years
2	Experience building web apis in C# and .net	8+ years
3	Experience in developing and shipping high throughput REST APIs	10+ years

Required Experience

• 10+ years of experience working as an SDE at an Enterprise Level (consumer facing). Or Masters degree with 8+ years of experience
• 8+ years of experience building web apis in C# and .net
• Hands on experience in developing and shipping high throughput REST APIs
• Ability to read/write SQL queries
• Experience with API testing, performance testing and performance debugging tools

Plusses:

• 8+ years of experience building cloud native web apis
• 5+ years of experience in AWS application development and monitoring
• 5+ years of experience building scalable Kubernetes EKS applications
• Experience with architecture involving asynchronous workflows such as Kafka
• Experience with NoSQL databases such as Cassandra or DynamoDB
• Solid experience in observability and monitoring tools such as NewRelic, Splunk, DataDog, AppInsights
• Experience with Apigee gateway and proxy development
• Experience in authorization and authentication mechanisms on REST APIs
• Hands on experience in designing and documenting REST APIs and system integrations documentation
• Experience in lifting and shifting services from on-prem to cloud
• Infrastructure automation such as Chef, Terraform, ARM templates
• Experience with DevOps techniques and practices
• Bachelor's Degree in computer science or related field
• Experience with PowerShell and command line scripts
