Role: Oracle HCM

Location: Columbia, SC (Onsite)
Job Type: Contract

Key Responsibilities

Solution Design & Implementation

  • Lead or participate in end-to-end implementation and enhancement of Oracle HCM Cloud modules.
  • Translate business requirements into functional specifications and configuration solutions.
  • Configure modules such as Core HR, Payroll, Absence Management, Compensation, Benefits, Talent, Learning, Recruiting, and Performance Management.
  • Perform setup, testing, validation, and user acceptance activities.
  • Develop documentation, configuration guides, and standard operating procedures.

Integration & Technical Collaboration

  • Work with integration teams to connect Oracle HCM Cloud with other systems (ERP, Payroll, Benefits, Identity Management).
  • Support HCM Extracts, HDL (HCM Data Loader), BI Publisher, Fast Formulas, and OTBI reports.
  • Collaborate on Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) interfaces, APIs, and web services for inbound/outbound data.

Support & Maintenance

  • Provide production support, troubleshoot issues, and coordinate resolutions with Oracle Support.
  • Perform quarterly update impact analysis and regression testing.
  • Monitor system performance and ensure compliance with security and audit requirements.

Stakeholder Management & Leadership

  • Work directly with HR and IT stakeholders to define project scope, deliverables, and timelines.
  • Lead or mentor junior consultants and analysts.
  • Participate in governance meetings and process improvement discussions.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, HRIS, or related field.
  • 8+ years of experience in Oracle HCM applications, with 3+ years on Oracle HCM Cloud (Fusion HCM).
  • Hands-on expertise in configuration, implementation, or support of multiple HCM Cloud modules (Core HR, Payroll, Absence, Compensation, etc.).
  • Strong understanding of HR business processes, data models, and security roles.
  • Experience with HDL, HCM Extracts, BI Publisher, OTBI, and Fast Formulas.
  • Good understanding of OIC (Oracle Integration Cloud) and REST/SOAP APIs.
  • Excellent analytical, documentation, and communication skills.
