Infrastructure Systems Engineer

Piper Companies Enterprise Solutions is seeking a highly qualified Infrastructure Systems Engineer to join an elite Healthcare organization located within Columbia, MD. This is a hybrid position willing to work local in Columbia, MD or Raleigh, NC. The Infrastructure Systems Engineer will be responsible for the implementation, design, and maintenance of the company's infrastructure technologies and services. With their insight and guidance, they will provide direction on both core technical and operational disciplines.

Responsibilities for the Infrastructure Systems Engineer include:

- Work with the Application team to define and document best practices and standard operating procedures.

- Create solutions to fit IT strategies that address direct business needs.

- Partner with vendors and leadership to review both design and technical requirements.

- Contribute to the architectural peer review process as they conduct planning and performance management of supportive technology for company usage.

- Provide after-hours support for Infrastructure related emergencies (Occasional weekend Maintenance included).

- Provide mentorship and insightful guidance to Junior Systems Engineers and System Administrator's.

Qualifications & Skills:

- Bachelor's degree in a related field with 10+ years of experience.

- Direct experience with Microsoft products, Windows Server, Exchange Server, and Active Directory.

- Preferred MCSE or similar certification.

- Experience with Software Development Lifecycle (Agile, SCRUM, DevOps), Project Management Lifecycle and ITIL processes.

Compensation & Benefits

- Salary Range: $110,000 - $125,000
