Job Description:

Desktop Support Technician
Location: position is onsite in Akron, OH
Duration: 3 to 4 month contract to hire opportunity
Schedule: (M-F) 7:30am-4:30pm
Pay: $19-21/hr (weekly pay on W2)
Position Summary:
  • Unbox the device (laptop)
  • Power up, install Windows updates and drivers, install any required applications
  • Install, move, add and change ("IMAC") the device in ServiceNow.
  • Re-box the devices
  • Create shipping labels and fix to box
  • Ship the devices to end-user
  • Monitor calls, incidents and requests using client provided ServiceNow tool
Requirements:
  • Customer Service skills
  • Previous IT support experience (6+ months of experience)
  • Windows 10 and O365 experience
  • CompTIA A+ certification is a plus
