IT PROJECT MANAGER (PLCYPLN)

Summary

You will serve as the Navy ESS IPT Lead within the Shore C2ISR & Integration Department of NIWC ATLANTIC, with an official position title of IT Project Manager (PLCYPLN).

• You will apply and lead others to apply industry standard information technology program manager methods and models to complex IT programs.
• You will develop and execute complex program acquisition plans to meet cost, schedule, and performance constraints.
• You will develop cost estimates for complex programs.
• You will develop and execute risk management plans to meet cost, schedule, and performance requirements for complex programs.
• You will lead and mentor teams and team members.

• Within the Department of Defense (DoD), the appointment of retired military members within 180 days immediately following retirement date to a civilian position is subject to the provisions of 5 United States Code 3326.

• This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
• You will be required to complete training, obtain, and maintain a government credit card for travel and travel-related purchases.
• Successful completion of a pre-employment drug test (including marijuana) is required. A tentative offer of employment will be rescinded if you fail to report to the drug test appointment or fail the test. You will be subject to random testing.
• You will be required to obtain and maintain a Top Secret SCI security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
• You will be required to complete ethics orientation within three months of appointment and submit a Confidential Financial Disclosure Report, OGE-450, within 30 days of appointment.
• This is a Cyberspace Workforce position, work role code 802, proficiency level Basic. The incumbent is required to obtain and maintain qualifications in DoDM 8140.03 Cyber Workforce Qualification and Department of Navy policies.

Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-13 grade level or pay band (NO-05) in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Developing and executing program acquisition plans, developing cost estimates and risk management plans, resolving conflict and problems, and leading various personnel.

Your experience must reflect skill in the following areas: attention to detail, customer service, oral communication, and problem solving.
