SAIC's National Intelligence Community (NIC) Business Unit, USG Mission and Information Technology Division, provides solutions and services supporting digital modernization programs in areas such as systems engineering, multi-cloud computing, cybersecurity, data science and analytics, artificial intelligence and machine learning, quantum computing, application development, SecDevOps, cloud network operations, and secure communications.
We are seeking a highly motivated Data Analyst to join our multi-million dollar National Intelligence program supporting the Cloud Investment Multi-Cloud Management (CIMM) team. As a contributor to the Intelligence Community's first multi-cloud initiative, you will be at the epicenter of emergent cloud computing technologies, establishing a foundation that will evolve to include all agencies within the IC. As a Data Analyst, you will be responsible for gathering and analyzing data to identify trends, and developing valuable insights to assist with solving problems and informing business decisions.

Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Analyzing user needs and software requirements to determine approach and feasibility of design within time and cost constraints
- Aggregating, maintaining, analyzing, updating, and reporting on cloud service consumption, ordering, billing, spending, and utilization metrics
- Aggregating, maintaining, analyzing, updating, and reporting workload performance metrics such as workload placement, trends, thresholds, alerts, breaches, issues, problems, and recommendations
- Preparing, cleaning, analyzing, interpreting, and displaying data using different approaches and business intelligence tools such as Microsoft Power BI
- Creating data visualizations to obtain actionable insights using Tableau
- Conducting trend analysis activities and providing recommendations
- Preparing reports using relevant data for management stating trends, patterns, and prediction
- Preparing final analysis reports for stakeholders to understand the data analysis steps, enabling them to make significant decisions based on various facts and trends
Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
- Active TS/SCI with Polygraph
- Bachelor's Degree in STEM domain or related field
- 5+ years of experience in data and trend analysis
- 5+ years of experience using data analytics and visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, and/or Qlik
- Previous experience as a business analyst, data analyst, data scientist, or requirements analyst
- Knowledge of programming languages such as SQL, Oracle, R, MATLAB, and/or Python
- Strong mathematical skills to assist with collecting, measuring, organizing, and analyzing data
- Adept at using data processing platforms such as Apache Hadoop and Spark
- Adept at queries, writing reports, and making presentations
- Problem-solving skills
- Accuracy and attention to detail skills
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills
- Ability to work well independently and in a team environment
Desired Qualifications:
- Experience in a cloud and/or hybrid environment
- Experience working on multiple cloud platforms
- Experience with requirements analysis tools and processes
- Certification: AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner
