Job Title: Technical Analyst Location Phoenix, US - Day one Onsite

Skills: SQL; Python; Java; R; Power BI; ServiceNow; MS SQL

Role Overview
We are looking for an individual with a strong analytical and reporting background, preferably with experience in dashboarding tools, such as Power BI or Tableau. Experience with DAX (Data Analysis Expressions), either in Excel or Power BI, is preferred. The role requires the ability to analyze trends in complex data and communicate complex information efficiently and effectively, similar to Science Communication.
The role also requires experience with SQL Databases, and general interfacing and automation around such. Knowledge of SQL is required, knowledge of any of these programming languages is preferred: Python, R, Java.

Key Responsibilities
Regular Reporting: Design and implement reliable reports from given data sources and distribute those reports on a reoccurring basis. This is often in the form of dashboarding but can also be generating files regularly.
Data Processing and Cleanup: Be responsible for data solutions to be able to integrate raw data sources into functional formats for analytics, dashboarding, and reporting. This requires knowledge of NLP (Natural Language Processing), Regex, and Data Cleaning.

Skills & Attributes

Technical Expertise:
Hands-on experience with SQL, preferably in the context of interfacing with a Microsoft SQL Server.
Knowledge of programming in the context of automation and data cleaning, such as NLP (Natural Language Processing).
Experience automating manual tasks, such as data entry into a spreadsheet.
ServiceNow & ITSM Knowledge
Strong working knowledge of ServiceNow modules (Incident, Problem, Change, Knowledge, ITOM, ITAM).
Solid grasp of ITIL or related ITSM best practices.

Analytical Skills:
Ability to work with large datasets, spot trends, and create actionable insights.
Proven track record of producing clear, meaningful reports and dashboards.

Problem-Solving:
Exceptional analytical, critical thinking, and troubleshooting skills.

Tool-Specific Competencies
Programming: SQL (required), DAX (preferred), and experience in one of the following programming languages- Python, R, Java.
Dashboarding: Experience with a dashboarding software is required, (Power BI or Tableau is preferred).
