- Lead the design, deployment, and management of AI security protocols and safeguards
- Collaborate with AI development teams to embed security best practices throughout the AI lifecycle
- Conduct threat modeling, vulnerability assessments, and penetration testing related to AI
- Monitor AI systems for security breaches or anomalies and respond promptly
- Stay abreast of emerging threats, trends, and advancements in AI security and cybersecurity
- Establish policies and procedures for secure AI model training, deployment, and maintenance
- Manage a team of security experts and work with cross-functional teams to build a security-first mindset
- Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, standards, and industry best practices
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related field (or equivalent experience) strongly preferred.
- Proven experience (10+ years) of progressive experience in Information
- Security, with demonstrated leadership experience managing technical teams.
- Strong understanding of AI/ML algorithms, frameworks, and deployments.
- Familiarity with threat modeling, encryption, authentication, and access controls in AI environments.
- Experience with security tools, cloud security, and incident response.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and strategic thinking skills.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, CEH) are preferred.
Education:
- High School diploma equivalency with 5 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required, with 2 of those years being in leadership/management OR Associate's degree/Bachelor's degree with 3 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required, with 2 of those years being in leadership/management.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with AI-specific vulnerabilities and adversarial attacks.
- Knowledge of regulatory and ethical considerations in AI security.
- Hands-on experience with secure software development and DevSecOps practices.
