Job Title: AWS Infra Architect
Location: New York, NY
Onsite
Cloud Infrastructure Management
- Design build and maintain AWS infrastructure architecture
- Manage AWS deployments troubleshoot incidents and optimize performance
- Implement and manage CICD pipelines for application and infrastructure delivery
- Configure and manage AWS services EC2 VPC CloudFront S3 CloudWatch API Gateway Kinesis etc
- Ensure security best practices for VPC Security Groups and IAM policies
- Configuration Automation
- Implement configuration management using Puppet Terraform CloudFormation
- Automate build and installation processes using Kickstart and similar tools
- Develop and maintain scripts for automation Shell Bash Perl Python PowerShell
- LinuxUnix Administration
- Install configure and maintain LinuxUnix servers RHEL AIX Solaris FreeBSD
- Perform patch management using RHN Satellite and kernel upgrades
- Administer TomcatWebSphere application servers and related components
- Conduct system security audits and implement hardening measures
- Manage virtual environments VMware cloning snapshots resource allocation
Containerization Orchestration
Work with emerging technologies like Docker and Kubernetes for containerized deployments
Implement cloud orchestration solutions for scalable environments
Documentation Compliance
Create and maintain technical documentation for installations configurations and processes
Ensure compliance with security and operational standards
Required Skills
- Strong handson experience with AWS Cloud Services and best practices
- Expertise in LinuxUnix administration and troubleshooting
- Proficiency in scripting languages Shell Bash Perl Python PowerShell
- Knowledge of CICD tools Jenkins Bamboo Hudson
- Familiarity with Cisco UCS VMware and virtualization technologies
- Strong understanding of networking protocols and cloud networking concepts
- Excellent communication and team leadership skills
