Job Description -
- Network Design: The Network Architect is responsible for designing a network infrastructure that meets an organization's requirements for performance, scalability, security, and reliability.
- Network Planning: The Network Architect must plan and manage the deployment of new network components, such as switches, routers, firewalls, and other network devices.
- Network Security: The Network Architect must ensure that the network infrastructure is secure and protected against threats and vulnerabilities. This includes implementing security policies, procedures, and technologies to safeguard network assets.
- Network Optimization: The Network Architect is responsible for optimizing network performance and ensuring that the network is functioning at peak efficiency.
- Network Monitoring: The Network Architect must monitor network performance and troubleshoot issues as they arise. They must also be able to identify potential problems and take corrective action before they become critical.
- Network Documentation: The Network Architect must maintain accurate documentation of the network infrastructure, including network diagrams, topology maps, and other relevant information.
