Description:
Position: Structural Engineer (Entry to Mid-Level) - Agriculture/Industrial Sector
Location: Sioux Falls, South Dakota (hybrid)
Role Overview: As a Structural Engineer within our agriculture and industrial team, you will deliver engineering excellence through:
- Using advanced software tools and manual calculations to develop design solutions that comply with regulatory codes and are feasible for construction.
- Performing comprehensive site assessments, including observations and structural evaluations, with potential travel to construction sites (up to 10%).
Additional Responsibilities for Mid-Level Engineers:
- Leading the development of proposals, design documentation, and project outputs.
- Coordinating the collaborative efforts of the design team, both internally and with external partners.
- Managing and developing detailed project specifics.
Qualifications:
- A Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, with a focus on Structural Engineering.
- For entry-level candidates, an Engineer-in-Training (E.I.T.) certification is preferred.
- For mid-level candidates, a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience (PE certification not required) or 4 years with a PE certification is preferred.
