Description:
We are looking for a Junior-Mid level Systems Engineering individual who will be paired with more experienced engineers in performing: requirements engineering, use case development, logical architecture modeling, and interface definition. This position may include software development, database manipulation, or Model-Based Systems Engineering Tools usage as well as supporting the SE-V, Architecture Team.

Location: Huntsville, AL or Colorado Springs, CO

Pay: $70,000 - $90,000 a year

Responsibilities:
  • Perform requirements engineering, use case development, logical architecture modeling, and interface definition.
  • software development, database manipulation, or Model-Based Systems Engineering Tools usage as well as supporting the SE-V, Architecture Team.

Experience Requirements:
  • Exposure to Systems Engineering concepts and skills such as requirements engineering, use case development, logical architecture modeling, and interface definition.
  • Training or experience in common programming languages including Java, C++, Python, data base management, networking or data communications is a plus.
  • Experience with Microsoft Excel including development of Pivot Tables and Excel Macros and Visio.
  • MBSE (Cameo) experience considered a plus!
  • Must be able to function as part of an experienced team in developing systems engineering products while adhering to the program Architecture and Systems Engineering Management Plan (ASEMP) and other processes.
  • Experience with performing systems engineering for DoD Information Systems is desirable.
  • Formal Systems Engineering education is a significant plus.
  • Active secret clearance

Education Requirements:
  • Bachelors with 1-2 years of experience or Masters with 0 years of experience. May also include non-exempt personnel involved in technical work with appropriate education and/or specialized training and 3 to 7+ years' experience or equivalent.
  • Active Secret clearance or higher.


Skills, experience, and other compensable factors will be considered when determining pay rate. The pay range provided in this posting reflects a W2 hourly rate; other employment options may be available that may result in pay outside of the provided range.
