Job Details

Seeking a highly skilled System Architect with deep expertise in designing, maintaining, and evolving complex enterprise IT systems in a Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) Solution Train. The ideal candidate will collaborate with the Solution train leadership to develop system architecture strategies and adaptive maintenance roadmaps, ensuring seamless alignment with business goals while providing subject matter expertise for sustaining existing legacy systems until adaptive maintenance efforts are fully realized. This role involves analyzing and optimizing intricate business processes, designing scalable technical solutions, and implementing best practices for system performance, security, and integration across diverse technology stacks.

Required skills/Level of Experience:
Proven experience in leading technical teams and providing mentorship.
Proficiency in designing scalable, secure, and robust system architectures.
Experience with microservices, SOA, and monolithic architectures.
Familiarity with cloud-based architectures (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
Proficiency in multiple programming languages (e.g., Java, Python, C#, JavaScript).
Knowledge of database technologies.
Expertise in integrating systems using APIs, message brokers, and middleware solutions.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills for documenting and presenting architecture.
Collaboration with cross-functional teams, including developers, business analysts, and stakeholders.
Understanding of DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
Experience with Scrum methodology and Agile practices.
Possession or ability to obtain and maintain the required a favorably adjudicated DHS Public Trust background investigation.

Preferred Skills/Level of Experience:
Certification in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) or Kubernetes.
Familiarity with SAFe Agile frameworks.
Proficiency creating system diagrams.
