Senior Programmer Analyst

Job Title: Senior Programmer Analyst Databricks & DevSecOps (Eligibility Systems)

Work Arrangement: Hybrid ( 2 days Onsite)

Location: Lansing, MI

Duration: 1 year with possible extension

Client: State of Michigan

Job Description:

• 8 11+ years of experience in the field or a related area.
  
• Relies on extensive experience and sound judgment to accomplish goals. Independently performs a variety of complex tasks and may lead projects. A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected.
  
• Functions as a Programmer Analyst 3 an advanced IT programmer/analyst and technical resource in the Eligibility domain.
  
• Provides support for development environments, production systems, and batch jobs. Evaluates potential solutions, develops alternatives, recommends technical modifications, and designs, develops, and maintains applications across multiple platforms.
  
• Demonstrates experience and understanding of agile methodologies.
  
• Works extensively with Databricks, JIRA, and Confluence technologies on Eligibility projects, and upgrades technologies as needed.
  
• Supports the Client Support area within the Department of Health & Human Services, including development and maintenance of related processes and reports.
  
• Responsible for comprehensive documentation in all areas of responsibility, including navigation, data storage/retrieval, validation, manipulation, and printing.
  

Key Responsibilities:

• Development environment support and production maintenance.
  
• Batch job execution and troubleshooting.
  
• Design, development, and maintenance of Eligibility-related systems.
  
• Report development and maintenance.
  
• Agile team collaboration and documentation using JIRA and Confluence.
  
• Supporting Eligibility projects through the full development lifecycle, particularly with Databricks/JIRA/DevSecOps/Confluence.
