- Work across various devices and systems, including networking, handhelds, tablets, and PCs
- Gain exposure to shop floor IT technologies, wireless networks, and industrial systems (e.g., MDOS)
- Contribute to a dynamic team supporting critical IT infrastructure and systems availability
How You Will Make An Impact
- Provide frontline IT support through the Answers queue, directed by the site lead
- Troubleshoot and support manufacturing IT systems, including MDOS and networking components
- Set up and configure new technology for incoming employees, including desktops, laptops, and mobile devices
- Support wireless network connectivity and handheld device functionality across the shop floor
- Perform preventative maintenance and routine system performance checks
- Execute authorized system upgrades and changes to ensure functionality and availability
- Assist with system recovery procedures and ensure readiness in case of outages
- Conduct root-cause analysis to identify and resolve recurring issues
- Maintain documentation related to setups, issues resolved, and procedures followed
Are You a Hands-On IT Support Rock Star?
- Foundational IT knowledge with a willingness to learn and adapt in a technical environment
- Hands-on experience supporting PCs, handhelds, tablets, and basic networking preferred
- Familiarity with wireless networking in operational settings a strong plus
- Comfortable working in manufacturing or shop floor environments
- Able to follow direction from site lead and work independently on assigned tasks
- Strong troubleshooting, organization, and communication skills
- Certifications not required; IT experience will be prioritized over formal education
