    Main Objective:
    Utilize analytical skills in order to provide technical assistance in all areas that relate to the Federal, state, and international tax matters affecting Arthrex, Inc. and its subsidiaries. Work with members of the Tax Department to help assure that Federal and state tax compliance requirements are met in a timely and efficient manner.

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
    * Conduct preliminary analysis of financial information such as balance sheets, fixed asset ledgers, and income statements and prepare detailed calculations to support the preparation of complex federal (corporate, flow-through and individual) income tax returns, as well as multi-state returns.
    * Assist in the calculation federal and state estimates, withholding payment requirements and extensions.
    * Provide assistance in the preparation of federal and state income tax provisions for financial statement disclosure.
    * Organize all relevant workpaper and supporting schedule documentation, including that of domestic and foreign subsidiaries.
    * Perform administrative office tasks such as data entry, scanning, cataloguing, indexing, sorting and filing, photocopying, and collating, etc. as needed.
    * Participate in tax projects involving research, examination, supporting tax audits and analysis as needed.
    * Develop relationships and work with other members of the Finance department team (local and international).

    Education and Experience:
    * Bachelor s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Business, or Mathematics required.
    * A CPA Certification or progressing towards a CPA certification preferred.
    * 1-3 years current and recent experience in public accounting or corporate tax department preferred.
    * Must have a general knowledge of US and state tax laws and regulations.


    Knowledge and Skill Requirements/Specialized Courses and/or Training:
    * Have basic knowledge regarding federal, state, and local tax laws involving individual, corporate, and flow-through entities.
    * Technical and practical experience in tax return.
    * Knowledge of state apportionment and multi-state returns.
    * Familiarity with tax compliance software and tax research software.
    * Must be a detail-oriented professional with solid analytical, problem-solving and quantitative skills.
    * Excellent communication and business writing skills along with organization and follow-through abilities.
    * Strong interpersonal skills to facilitate positive interactions with other employees in the Finance team, outside advisors, and auditors.
    * Ability to effectively prioritize work volume, multi-task, and complete assigned tasks by established deadlines.
    * Must have excellent work habits, including the ability to work a flexible schedule due to variable workloads based on seasonality.
    * Able to work in a challenging and growth-oriented environment.


    Machine, Tools, and/or Equipment Skills:
    PCs; Microsoft Office with an advanced working knowledge of Excel; and general office equipment. Experience in tax preparation software, Onesource RS preferred. Sage FAS, SAP, RIA Checkpoint a plus.

    Reasoning Ability:
    Able to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions using analytical reasoning.

    Able to comprehend and apply mathematical principles in order to fulfill job requirements as needed.

    Language and Communication Skills:
    Able to comprehend and apply language skills in order to fulfill job requirements as needed. Able to effectively communicate ideas and issues to other team members and management in both oral and written mediums. Able to write and record data and information effectively and accurately.
