Job Summary:
The UX Designer is instrumental in crafting and implementing the user experience strategy for our digital products. This role requires a blend of artistic flair and technical knowledge, aiming to produce intuitive and captivating solutions to design challenges. The ideal candidate is proactive, eager to learn about new design methodologies and trends, and dedicated to creating user-centric, accessible, and engaging digital interactions. As a UX Designer, you will play a key role in developing user-friendly and impactful user experiences for our digital services suite. Your work will significantly influence user engagement and satisfaction, shaping the design and functionality of our website(s), mobile application, and internal digital platforms. Working in collaboration is central to this role, as you will partner with designers, engineers, product managers, and stakeholders to translate innovative design concepts into reality, using advanced design tools and technology.
Essential Job Functions:
- Participate in the UX design process from start to finish, supporting the company's vision for user experiences across digital channels.
- Engage in collaborative design efforts, working with the design team and cross-functional departments to create designs that connect with our audience and reflect our brand values and goals.
- Utilize user research, analytics, and feedback to inform design decisions, aiming for continuous improvement of our user interfaces.
- Assist in refining our design methodologies and workflows, promoting best practices in design collaboration and efficiency.
Qualifications:
- Strong ability to present design concepts visually, verbally, and in writing, with skill in explaining and negotiating design decisions.
- Ability to use user research and A/B testing/behavioral analytics to quickly produce wireframes, showing flexibility and efficiency in a dynamic work setting.
- Understanding of the Lean UX approach, with the ability to quickly prototype, iterate, and implement user-centered design solutions in a team-focused and efficient way.
- Proficiency in FIGMA, and familiarity with user research platforms like , Agile project management tools such as Jira, and documentation tools like Confluence. Knowledge of Smartsheets is beneficial.
- Experience in addressing complex design issues, with keen attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines successfully.
- Good independent work habits, alongside the ability to contribute effectively in a team setting.
Preferred:
- Bachelor's degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), or a similar field, along with a portfolio showcasing a wide range of UX design skills. 2-4 years of relevant experience in a design role.
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:
- A portfolio that showcases creativity and skill in UX design projects. Certifications are beneficial.
