Seeking a Senior CAE Engineer to lead durability assessments for key vehicle subsystems, including chassis, body structures, closures, powertrain, battery pack, interiors, and more. This role involves performing CAE analysis, supporting test planning and validation, correlating CAE with physical tests, and driving design improvements through trade-off studies and optimization. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional design teams and contribute to new method development and process automation.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform strength, stiffness, fatigue, linear, nonlinear, and dynamic analyses across vehicle subsystems.

  • Create high-quality FEM meshes from CAD or sketches.

  • Correlate CAE results with physical test data and maintain traceable documentation.

  • Support design engineers to ensure components meet durability targets.

  • Utilize CAE tools such as ANSA, HyperMesh, HyperView, MetaPost, OptiStruct, nCode, ADAMS, etc.

  • Participate in method development, tool benchmarking, and automation initiatives.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor s degree (or higher) in Mechanical Engineering or related field; 7+ years of relevant experience.

  • Strong background in vehicle-level CAE, durability testing, and validation.

  • Proficiency in structural mechanics and materials.
