About This Role

We seek an innovative and experienced Founding AI Engineer to lead our artificial intelligence initiatives and drive the integration of AI capabilities into our agentic no-code SaaS platform. In this role, you will develop and implement AI strategies that enhance our product offerings, improve user experiences, and create competitive advantages in the market. As the founding AI Engineer, you'll play a crucial part in developing the core technology that will democratize software development. It's also an excellent opportunity for someone looking to grow into a leadership position and build a team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive AI strategy aligned with our company's vision and goals
  • Lead the design and implementation of AI-powered features and functionalities within our no-code platform
  • Collaborate with product management, engineering, and UX teams to integrate AI capabilities seamlessly into our SaaS offerings
  • Stay abreast of the latest AI trends, frameworks, and technologies to evolve our AI strategy and architecture
  • Build and lead a team of AI/ML and Data engineers
  • Oversee the development of AI models, algorithms, and data pipelines to support our platform's capabilities
  • Drive innovation by identifying new opportunities for AI application in enterprise SaaS solutions.
  • Establish partnerships with AI technology providers and research institutions
  • Communicate AI initiatives and results to executive leadership and stakeholders

Qualifications:

  • Advanced degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, or a related field
  • 6+ years of experience in AI/ML, building and deploying models to production.
  • Expertise in machine learning, natural language processing, neural networks, model finetuning (e.g. PEFT/LORA), and other related AI technologies
  • Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform) and AI development frameworks
  • Experience integrating AI capabilities into software products
  • Proven track record of leading successful AI initiatives and driving innovation
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
  • Ability to translate complex technical concepts into business value propositions

Preferred Skills:

  • Familiarity with agile development methodologies
  • Background in enterprise software or B2B SaaS products
  • Hands-on experience with open-source LLM fine-tuning or involvement in bespoke LLM fine-tuning projects
  • Hands-on experience with agent frameworks such as OpenHands, Swarm, LangGraph, etc
  • Hands-on experience and publications in building applications and evaluations related to AI agents
  • Familiarity with agentic reasoning methods
