Role : Senior Product Specialist

Location: San Francisco, CA

Duration: 12 Months

MOI : Telephonic & Skype

Primary Skills: Property & Casualty

Need Candidates with a Minimum of 10 Years of Experience. This is a 100% Remote role on a W2 basis.

Scope of Work/Work Breakdown Structure:

  • Drive the strategic development and enhancement of policy products in alignment with product vision and State Fund's business objectives.
  • Create detailed scope and detailed product change use cases to speed up the product change delivery.
  • Function as the bridge between business stakeholders and the development team, ensuring that the product meets the needs of both internal and external customers.
  • Define policy product vision, setting priorities, and maximizing policy products' value to our customers and internal users.
  • Document Product Change Requirements, which typically identify high-level scope and change use cases
  • Document Stakeholder Analysis at the Product and Product Change levels
  • Develop and maintain a technical strategy and roadmap for each assigned product
  • Identify opportunities for technology enhancements and innovations to improve operational efficiency and customer satisfaction.
  • Lead business teams in the identification and definition of clear problem statements, value statements, as well as clear change scope and impact analysis for each product change
  • Attend product change requirement elicitation sessions and identify, troubleshoot, and resolve any issues and/or roadblocks.
  • Support User Acceptance Testing via weekly status meetings to document progress of test script creation and execution, as well as troubleshoot any issues and/or roadblocks, and report weekly results.
  • Work in coordination with Change Management for all product changes scheduled for release.
  • Report on the status of each assigned product, which includes but is not limited to successes, issues, and future changes
  • Create a product change readiness assessment for the project start, which identifies resource bandwidth constraints.
  • Create and/or maintain Product Status Reports such that real-time data may be retrieved upon demand.
  • Conduct monthly release management checkpoints with product business teams to ensure business activities (UAT, Defects, Change-Management, etc.) are planned and executed.
  • Establish and maintain effective working relationships with EPMO (Business Analysts, Project Manager, CX), Digital Experience, Vendors, as well as IT Development and Quality Assurance staff.
  • Mentor and train junior staff as Product Specialists

Technical Knowledge & Skills:

  • MUST HAVE-In-depth and expansive knowledge of Property and Casualty Insurance with a detailed functional understanding of the suite of products that support the Policy
