    Job Description

    Piper Companies is currently seeking a Quality Assurance Regulatory Technical Specialist in Willow Grove, Pennsylvania (PA) to work for a leading forensic laboratory. This person will assist the Quality Assurance Regulatory Manager in monitoring regulated work conducted at National Medical Services for compliance with external regulatory requirements and industry standards.

    Responsibilities for the Quality Assurance Regulatory Technical Specialist include:
    • Participate in the writing/review of applicable polices, processes and procedures and participate in the conduct of lab staff training in related areas.
    • Participate in the review of industry standards, developing guidance documents, and emerging areas of regulatory impact.
    • Attend professional meetings and conferences on QA activities and relay information gained to the company.
    • Support the preparation and acquisition of documentation that may be required during an external audit with the appropriate company staff, as applicable.
    • Participate in activities designed to assure regulatory compliance with the licensing/accrediting agencies. (e.g. Preparation of renewal applications.)
    • Prepare research summaries related to proposals and contracts and provide them to the Regulatory Specialist or Manager responsible for that discipline.
    • Ensure that pertinent information is entered into and maintained in the appropriate QA files.
    • Review trade publications and current literature for information related to QA activities.
    • Other duties as assigned.


    Qualifications for the Quality Assurance Regulatory Technical Specialist include:

    • Bachelors in a chemical, physical or biological science with a minimum of 3+ yrs. diverse laboratory experience or appropriate OR Masters + 1 yrs.; plus 1+ years QA auditing involvement.

    Compensation for the Quality Assurance Regulatory Technical Specialist include:

    • Up to $65,000
