JOB TITLE: SR. AZURE DATA ENGINEER WITH ADF

LOCATION: RICHMOND, VA(HYBRID)

DURATION: 18+ MONTHS CONTRACT

 

One of our insurance customer based out of Virginia is looking for a senior data engineer to add to their existing team. 

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Azure Data Catalog, Responsible for defining the application architecture based on global standards and documenting for future reference Responsible for discovery work for understanding the business requirements and defining the solution to support the business Will Define the best practices and enforce the process to maintain them. Should have Azure, Azure Data Factory, Data Bricks, Python and SQL. Should have sound communication skills Having SQL Development

Roles & Responsibilities:

  1. Azure Data CatLog, Responsible for defining the application architecture based on global standards and documenting for future reference Responsible for discovery work for understanding the business requirements and defining the solution to support the business Will Define the best practices and enforce the process to maintain them.
  2. Should have Azure, Azure Data Factory, Data Bricks, Python and SQL. Should have sound communication skills Having SQL Development
  3. Experience 7 to 9yrs

Candidate is responsible for

  • Responsible for defining the application architecture based on global standards and documenting for future reference Responsible for discovery work for understanding the business requirements and defining the solution to support the business Will Define the best practices and enforce the process to maintain them.
  • Responsible for providing technical guidance and direction to the build team when needed Responsible for reviewing code and provide feedback or scope of improvements to be followed by the team Should have knowledge on SDLC documentation and should be able to review the documents prepared by team for commercialization Skillset.
  • Design and build modern data pipelines and data streams Design and build data service APIs.
  • Analyse current business practices, processes and procedures and identify future opportunities for leveraging Microsoft Azure data Support the planning and implementation of data platform services including sizing, configuration, and needs assessment.
