Senior DevSecOps Engineer (Remote)

Job Summary

SafeRide Health is seeking a Senior DevSecOps Engineer (Remote) to join our technology team. The ideal candidate will have a solid foundation in cloud management practices and a focus on secure applications at scale.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with the engineering team and lead DevSecOps to ensure secure, repeatable deployment of applications and services using an existing CI/CD process
• Build and maintain systems monitoring and reporting in the AWS cloud
• Assist engineering in the development of build definitions and container profiles
• Maintain existing infrastructure templates for failure and disaster recovery
• Ensure the integrity, availability, and confidentiality of SafeRide Health systems
• Communicate clearly about the current state of security practice in the organization, and be able to represent that information to external stakeholders and auditors on a regular basis
• Work with security partners to perform penetration testing and security analysis, and summarize and report findings to engineering and security
• Run a security incident playbook to respond to and investigate reported issues
• Maintain Jira for all tasks
• Engineer and Maintain a Microservice-based docker architecture

Required Skills

• 4+  years experience in cloud infrastructure management and Linux systems administration
• 4+ years experience in AWS Architecture, AWS Best Practices, AWS Well-Architected Framework
• Advanced experience maintaining templatized infrastructure as code in Terraform
• Advanced experience with cloud architecture: VPCs, load balancers, networking, ALB routing, ECS, EC2, RDS management
• Experience in AWS Control Tower, Multiple Organizations, AWS SSO 2.0 a plus.
• Experience maintaining Relational (MySql) & Non-relational (Mongodb) databases
• Experience with monitoring, logging and APM, New Relic a plus
• Prior experience conducting industry standard audits, such PCI-DSS, SOC, HIPAA, ISO, HITRUST, etc., and responding to audit requests in a B2B environment
• Prior experience with a secure environment where PII/PHI are processed
• Experience setting up jenkins deployment pipelines for web based applications and following best practices
• Experience with Microservice-based architectures using containers

Nice To Have

• Advanced experience with Amazon Web Services in a 24x7 production environment, certification in AWS DevOps Engineer a plus 
• Experience in Kubernetes and Rancher a plus
• Basic Experience in troubleshooting scripts, have written bash, python scripts a plus
