Job Description:

Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented System Administrator / IT Support Technician to join our team! In this role you will l be responsible for maintaining project infrastructure/equipment (both physical and virtual), development environments, and DevSecOps tools.

What You'll Be Doing:

• Building and hardening Windows, Linux, Hypervisor systems (VMware ot Kubernetes).
• User maintenance activities on both Windows and Linux operating systems
• Perform general systems administration (patching, updates, user support) of:
  • Windows & Linux clients and servers.
  • Network switches.
  • VMware ESXi and vCenter.
  • Network Storage Systems.
• Configure: DNS, DHCP, Group Policy, Active Directory, Backup Solutions, and least-privilege.
• Maintenance of other systems/services according to project needs
• Configure, maintain, troubleshoot, and secure systems and network devices to comply with DISA Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs).

What Required Skills You'll Bring:

• Windows 10 / General Windows Troubleshooting (for assisting folks who have issues with their laptops)
• ESXi / VMWare vSphere - Understand how to build / configure VMs
• VMWare Workstation - Understand how to build / configure VMs
  
  Windows Server 2019/2022
• PowerShell
• Red Hat Linux (or general Linux exp)
• Networking - Firewalls, Switches, Architecture

What Desired Skills You'll Bring:

• Experience working as part of a software development team
• Experience using modern software build tools, including Git, Jenkins, Maven, and Gradle.
• CompTIA Sec+ and Server+ certification
• Ability to obtain US Government Secret clearance

Salary Range: $86,700.00 - $151,700.00
