Job Details

We are partnering with a fast-growing technology startup based in Downtown Dallas that is looking for a full time, onsite CI/CD Engineer with a strong QA and automation background. This engineer will design, implement, and manage CI/CD pipelines that power the company's software delivery lifecycle. You will be working hands on with tools like Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Docker, and Kubernetes in a dynamic environment where scalability and reliability are top priorities.

Required Skills & Experience
  • 3+ years of experience in CI/CD pipeline creation and management (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, CircleCI, or similar).
  • Strong background in QA, test automation, or DevOps practices.
  • Proficiency with containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes preferred).
  • Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform).
  • Knowledge of Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform, CloudFormation, etc.) a plus.
  • Comfortable working in fast-paced startup environments; able to wear multiple hats.
  • Strong problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
  • US-based, local to DFW (Dallas-Fort Worth) area strongly preferred.
  • Experience working effectively with remote and offshore development teams across different time zones.
Desired Skills & Experience
  • Experience with monitoring/logging tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, etc.).
  • Security awareness in build/deployment pipelines.
  • Experience working with microservices-based architecture.

What You Will Be Doing
Tech Breakdown
  • 30% - CI/CD Pipeline Development & Automation (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, CircleCI)
  • 20% - QA / Test Automation Integration (Selenium, PyTest, or similar frameworks)
  • 15% - Cloud Platforms (AWS preferred; Azure or Google Cloud Platform also relevant)
  • 15% - Containerization & Orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes)
  • 10% - Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform, CloudFormation)
  • 5% - Monitoring, Logging & Security (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack, build/deploy security)
  • 5% - Cross-Team Collaboration / Offshore Coordination (QA, Dev, and Product teams across time zones)
