Job Description
The RF Engineer will support hands-on evaluation, testing, diagnostics, and repair of foreign assets in support of providing the United States Intelligence Community with highly technical information on foreign adversary capabilities. The RF Engineer will aide in the exploitation foreign weapon systems such as aircraft, unmanned aerial vehicles, aerodynamic weapons, space systems, ballistic missiles, and associated subsystems to establish their design, performance capabilities, limitations, and vulnerabilities. In this position you must be able to work independently and in teams.

Job Description

In this position you must be able to work independently and in teams.
Essential Job Responsibilities
- Researches, designs, develops, and tests a variety of electronic equipment and systems, including radar and radiation detection equipment, power electronics; communications equipment and systems; circuitry components and integrated circuits; analog and digital computers, processors, field-programmable gate arrays (FPGA) and associated firmware; and control and test equipment.
Minimum Qualifications
- 5+ years of hands-on experience of various RF systems. Examples include receivers, exciters, and transmitters.
- Knowledge of typical RF circuits such as filters, local oscillators, RF switches, and amplifier chains
- Working experience RF instrumentation and components such as network and spectrum analyzers, RF signal generators, power meters, couplers, hybrids, etc.
- Ability to develop test plans, analyze test data, write technical reports, and give technical presentations.
- Ability to read and create schematics.
- Self-Motivated and goal oriented
- Ability to aide and instruct technicians in measurement techniques and methods
- Requires Secret clearance minimum at the time of application with ability to obtain Top Secret with SCI eligibility
Preferred Requirements
- Board layout, PCB fabrication knowledge, soldering, and PCB repair
- Familiarity with antenna patterns
- Experience with software defined radios
- Familiarity with RF modulation techniques such as FSK,BPSK,QPSK,FM, and AM
- Radar waveform familiarity and techniques
